CAIRO, March 15 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to space technology and satellite development, aligning with Egypt Vision 2030 to build a knowledge-based economy.
During a visit to the Egyptian Space Agency, Madbouly toured the satellite facilities with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Egyptian Space Agency CEO Sherif Sedky.
At the Satellite Assembly, Integration, and Testing Center (AITC), Sedky explained that the facility strengthens Egypt’s ability to manufacture satellites locally.
For his part, Madbouly inspected the space environment simulation lab, which includes vacuum thermal chambers, dynamic load simulators, and optical testing labs for satellite preparation.
He also reviewed high-resolution images from EgyptSat-2.
The Premier also toured the conference hall set to host New Space Africa 2025, an international forum for space collaboration. (MENA)
