
Cabinet Spokesperson Mohamed al-Hommosani announced remarkable progress in projects of first phase of Presidential Initiative Decent Life, saying the project would be completed before the end of March.
In a phone-in on Monday 10/3/2025 with “This Morning Program” (Haza el-Sabah) broadcast on Extra News Channel, the cabinet spokesman said, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly’s meeting Sunday showed 95 percent, accomplishment rate in the project, with expectations of completing the development work of 150 villages before the end of March.
The implementation rates are proceeding according to the previously set timetable, Hommosani added.
The spokesman said, the total spending on the first phase of the initiative exceeded LE350 bn, as 70 percent of these allocations are channeled into projects aimed at upgrading citizens’ living conditions, especially as regards basic sectors, including water and sanitation needed on many villages.
Regarding the second phase of the project, Hommosani said, it will include completing a number of projects in the governorates and regions that are in need of basic services, adding that the second phase will begin soon, coinciding with the end of the first phase, stressing the importance of providing required services to citizens.
