Abdelatty voices Egypt’s support for Yemen, integrity of its territories

CAIRO, March 3 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty asserted on Monday Egypt’s support to the security and stability of Yemen, its institutions, independence and the integrity of its territories.

This came during a meeting Abdelatty held with Shaya Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen.

During the meeting, Abdelatty stressed the importance of the security and stability of Yemen due to its important position in the region and on the Red Sea.

The foreign minister expressed Egypt’s support to all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution in Yemen in a way achieving the aspirations of the Yemeni people and ending their suffering.

Abdelatty reviewed Egyptian efforts to offer all kinds of support to the Yemeni people especially in the medical and food domains, pointing out that Egypt hosts on its territories a large number of Yemenis and offers them all services and facilitation.

They discussed preparations for Tuesday’s Arab summit in Cairo to discuss the Gaza developments.

Abdelatty reiterated rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from their homeland and called for reaching a permanent and just political solution to the Palestinian problem. (MENA)
