Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly asserted that Egypt realized an unprecedented urban leap over the past years, especially G4 cities like the New Administrative Capital with its mammoth ventures.
He made the remarks while inspecting the progress realized so far in the Central Business District (CBD) project in the New Administrative Capital. He was accompanied by Housing Minister Sherif Sherbini and a number of officials. Located in the heart of the desert some 50 km east of capital Cairo, the CBD project covers an area of about 505,000 square meters, with 20 commercial and residential skyscrapers as well as supporting municipal infrastructure, among which is the 385-meter high iconic tower, the tallest building in Africa.
The premier underlined keenness on implementing the project in accordance with the highest quality standards under the set designs. Madbouly asserted the importance of intensifying efforts over the coming period to finalize the remaining work in this area.
