Violent clashes erupted between the Syrian army and armed factions in the Aleppo countryside, coinciding with the implementation of joint strikes by the Syrian and Russian armies on the supply routes of the militants.
Syrian TV reported the killing of three people, including a woman, and the injury of others in Hama.
Syrian journalist Muhammad Tawalbeh told the al-Ghad channel that the armed factions deliberately targeted communication towers in the areas they controlled, preventing civilians from leaving Aleppo province.
Up to two million Syrian civilians were prevented from fleeing Aleppo, he added.
Tawalbeh said that the Syrian and Russian armies continue to carry out concentrated strikes on the positions of the rebel groups in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib, where five headquarters of the militants and seven ammunition depots were destroyed.
He explained that the weapons and ammunition depots contain drones, according to a statement by the Syrian army.
The targets are concentrated in areas in Idlib Governorate, which are sites where the armed factions are stationed, he revealed.
Tawalbeh said that the Syrian army announced that it had eliminated 400 militants of different nationalities in the past hours.
