The National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) said, on Sunday 1-12-2024, 173,000 tons of vegetables, fruit, flour and food products were exported from November 23 to 29.
In its 45th report, the authority said sweet potatoes topped the list of exports at 11,000 tons followed by beans at 8,000 tons.
The volume of exported vegetables reached 43,000 tons.
Citrus was in the lead of exported fruit list with 18,000 tons exports to be followed by strawberry at 5,000 tons.
Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Turkey topped the list of exporters to the country.
