The Saudi Interior Ministry announced on Thursday that it has executed two Egyptian expatriates and a Saudi citizen in two different cases.
The Interior Ministry explained in a statement: “Hassan Eid Suleiman al-Maghbash and Musa Muhammad Hassan Dabal – Egyptian nationals – smuggled amphetamine pills into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the security authorities were able to arrest them, and the investigation resulted in charging them with committing the crime.”
After referring them to the competent court, a ruling was issued against them proving the charges, and the court ordered their execution as a discretionary punishment.
The ruling became final after it was appealed and then upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by Sharia law.
The death sentence was carried out as a discretionary punishment against the perpetrators on Thursday in the Tabuk region.
In a separate statement, the Saudi Interior Ministry said: “Suwailem bin Muslim bin Awda al-Faidi, Saudi national, killed Shabab bin Awad bin Salman al-Faidi, Saudi national, by shooting him, which led to his death, following a dispute between them.”
The security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigations resulted in charging him with the crime.

The Interior Ministry added that it is announcing this to confirm to everyone the Saudi government’s dedication to establish security, achieve justice, and implement the provisions of Islamic law against anyone who harms the innocent and breaks the law.
