Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly asserted that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi delivered important messages during the BRICS Summit with regard to the current global crisis.
During a press conference after the government’s weekly meeting on Wednesday23/10/2024, he said BRICS is the first meeting officially attended by Egypt.
Madbouly said the press conference focuses today on the petroleum sector in light of the agreements signed today, referring to international companies operating in Egypt.
He voiced hope to wriggle out of the challenges and problems facing the state’s petroleum sector, noting that the current stage will witness injecting more investments and boosting production of this sector.
He said this sector is a cornerstone of the state’s economy.
