Actor Mohamed Rezwan announced that filming has begun for the third season of the series “Mawdoo3 3a2ely” (A Family Matter), following the great success of the previous two seasons.
The latest season is slated to be released soon on the Shahid platform.
Rezwan posted a picture of the cast on Facebook, captioned: “The filming of the third season of the series Mawdoo3 3a2ely has begun, soon on Shahid.”
The series was a hit when it was first shown in December 2022.
The plot revolves around ‘Chef Ibrahim,’ played by Maged al-Kedwany, who suffers from memory loss, while his daughter ‘Sara,’ played by Rana Rais, lives with him after many years of living abroad.
He ends up in a relationship with ‘Maryam,’ played by Nour, and the series ended with their marriage and the birth of a daughter.
The series also stars Mohamed Shaheen, Mohamed Rezwan, Sama Ibrahim, Taha Desouky, Mohamed al-Qass, and Yasmin Mamdouh Wafi. It is written by Mohamed Ezz, Karim Youssef, Ahmed al-Jindi, and Samah Jamal, and directed by Ahmed al-Jindi.
