Egypt’s temperatures continue to drop on Monday, rainfall expected: EMA

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) anticipates temperatures to continue to drop on Monday, with hot weather during the day in the north of the country, including Greater Cairo, and very hot weather in South Sinai and the southern parts of the country.

The weather at night will be moderately hot and humid across most parts of the country.

Low clouds are expected to form north of the country, with chances of rainfall on the coastal governorates and northern Lower Egypt.

Weather maps anticipate rain to fall on areas of northern Lower Egypt and the northeastern coasts, extending lightly to areas of the northwestern coasts and the south of Lower Egypt at intervals.

  • Alexandria: 29C
  • Cairo: 32C
  • Sharm el-Sheikh: 36C
  • Hurghada: 37C
  • Luxor 39C
  • Aswan: 40C
