Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat on Friday 30/8/2024 headed to Indonesia to participate in the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) on behalf of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The forum will be held in the Indonesian resort island of Bali on September 1-3 with the participation of some heads of state and government, officials from the public and private sectors in some African states, in addition to representatives of various African academic communities, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology said in a statement.
The forum aims to foster cooperation and partnerships between African states and Indonesia, added the statement.
Talaat is set to meet with Indonesian ministers and government officials to probe bilateral cooperation in the communications and information technology field.
