The National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) has refuted rumors circulating on social media regarding the demolition of part of the East Nile Monorail project and the Light Rail Transit-LRT (El Salam – New Administrative Capital).
The news claiming that the demolition took place due to the two projects are located at the same level are totally unfounded and aims to create confusion among public opinion, the NAT said in a statement on Monday.
The NAT, meanwhile, said that plans to establish two projects were prepared through cooperation between the authority and the international consulting offices are part of the Ministry of Transport’s plan to expand sustainable projects based on environment-friendly technologies.
