Minister of State for Emigration and Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi said that providing social and insurance protection for Egyptian expatriates is one of the most important axes of her ministry’s work strategy.
In a statement on Friday 21/06/2024, the minister noted that she discussed with Social Solidarity Minister Nevine-al Kabbag the latest developments regarding the establishment of the “Protection and Insurance of Egyptians Abroad” Fund.
The fund will be established upon the recommendation of the fourth edition of the Conference of Egyptians Abroad, to be a solidarity and investment fund for its members, she further noted.
