The Ministry of Manpower announced on Tuesday that the holiday period for private sector workers during Eid al-Adha will be from Saturday, June 15, until Tuesday, June 18, with full pay and Wednesday and Thursday, June 19 and 20 will count as leave from the worker’s annual leave balance.
A ministry statement said that the employer may use the worker on these days or some of them, if the working conditions require it, and in this case the worker is entitled, in addition to his wage for this day to double their wage in accordance with the Labor Law.
