Egypt has begun establishing a second camp for displaced Palestinians in Khan Yunis, with a capacity of 400 tents to accommodate 4,000 people, equipped with electricity and toilets.
The camp will be completed at the end of this week in coordination with the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent societies.
It will then be followed by the establishment of a field hospital in city of Rafah and another camp north of Deir al-Balah, in addition to two aid distribution centers in Rafah.
Doctors Without Borders said that the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, is still besieged and we cannot receive patients in its field hospital, according to AlQahera News Channel.
The organization added that: “Citizens and displaced people in the northern Gaza Strip are suffering from severe famine and catastrophic health situation.”
Israel continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip by land, sea and air since October 7, resulting in the deaths of over 29,000 Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, and injuring 69,000.
Over 8,000 people remain missing under the rubble as occupation forces prevent ambulance crews from reaching them.
