An official Egyptian source denied reports that Israel targeted an Egyptian aid truck in northern Gaza, explaining that the truck belonged to the UNRWA.
The Egyptian source also denied Israeli media reports of plan being considered by Tel Aviv to move the Rafah crossing to the border triangle of Karm Abu Salem area on the Egyptian-Israeli border.
This came in statements reported by Egypt’s AlQahera News Channel on Monday.
Israeli media had previously claimed that Israel was considering moving the Rafah border crossing with Egypt to Karm Abu Salem area, aiming to not allow another party to interfere in the management of the crossing, enable Israel to conduct security checks, and prevent border smuggling operations.
