The high voter turnout in Egypt’s 2024 presidential election reflects the unity of the Egyptian people and their ability to face different challenges, said Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League Hossam Zaki.
Following his voting, he told MENA on Monday that the polls are organized transparently and fairly.
He lauded great efforts exerted by all parties contributing to conducting the election process, particularly the National Election Authority (NEA) that has been able to organize the process perfectly.
Voting in the election reflects the unity of Egyptians and their ability to deal with serious challenges facing Egypt and the region, he reaffirmed.
The Arab League partakes in overseeing the voting processes nationwide and will issue a report on this score, Zaki said, adding that the election has been held well and normally so far.
