Buses carrying Palestinian prisoners arrived from Ofer prison to the Beitunia municipality in the West Bank last night.
The Israeli authorities transferred 39 male and female prisoners, 24 of whom are over the age of 18, and 15 child prisoners to Ofer Prison – the last stop before their release.
The International Red Cross has begun operations to facilitate the transfer of Israeli detainees from Gaza and Palestinian detainees to the West Bank.
The Red Cross stated that the process takes days to release prisoners and detainees in Gaza and Palestinian detainees.
