The political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh said that Israel’s failure in the current conflict has serious consequences and will cost it dearly, including the lives of some of its prisoners held by the resistance.
In his speech on Wednesday, Haniyeh added: “We confirm to the enemy and those who stand behind it that your miserable attempts to cover up your failure by committing brutal massacres against innocent civilians with all your vileness will not save you from the resounding defeat in the Al-Aqsa flood.”
“You were defeated on the glorious October 7, and here you are stumbling in your ground entry that you embarked on in the face of our brave heroes and our defenseless people,” he said.
He proclaimed that what will be published about the number of Israeli losses in the war will shock the occupation.
“You announce some losses gradually, but what our brigades have learned and what you will publish is much greater, it will shock you and shock your people and those who stand behind you.”
He wrapped up his statement by conveying a message to the international community and the region, saying: “Here we warn them again that Netanyahu has no qualms about setting fire to the green and dry lands in the region and beyond to protect himself and the extremists around him, especially as we and the mediators have been informed of the need for an immediate halt to these massacres and genocide.”
Haniyeh revealed that the movement presented a comprehensive vision that “Begins with stopping the criminal aggression, opening the border crossings, and concluding a prisoner exchange agreement, and ends with opening the political path for the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with its capital, Jerusalem Al-Quds, and the right to self-determination.”
“But Netanyahu is procrastinating and misleading his audience with false promises that we will not allow him to fulfill,” he added.
Hamas attacks Israel’s main observation and communications site
The Qassam Brigades announced on Wednesday that they had carried out an engineering attack inside the “Abu Mtibaq” military site, the first time this has ever happened.
The Qassam Brigades said “We have managed to bring down the main observation and communications tower,” according to news reports.
The Israeli occupation targeted the vicinity of a church in the Gaza Strip during prayer on Wednesday.
