The Palestinian telecommunications company “Jawwal” has announced the gradual return of fixed, mobile, and internet services in Gaza, after three days of an information blackout following the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the telecommunications infrastructure.
The company explained that despite the severity of the situation, its technical teams are continuously working to repair as much of the damage to the network as possible within the available resources.
The International Telecommunication Union issued a decision confirming the importance of the return of communications and the internet to the Gaza Strip in order to help save lives.
The Israeli Air Force launched several consecutive airstrikes on northern Gaza, the heaviest since the start of the war, causing a complete cut-off of communications and the Internet in the sector, according to the Al-Arabiya website.
Al Arabiya explained that the NetBlocks observatory announced the collapse of the communication system in the Gaza Strip.
