The government pays great attention to the Central Business District in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) as a vital financial and business zone in the heart of Egypt’s new capital, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said Saturday 07/10/2023.
The project is being implemented according to the latest urban systems to constitute an icon of the new capital, the premier added during a tour of the district.
The management and operation plan for the Central Business District aims to attract major companies, entities and famous international brands, Madbouly said.
The Central Business District project is being implemented in accordance with international standards for managing and operating skyscrapers and smart cities in line with a plan established to market the project globally, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem al-Gazzar told the premier.
It is the first project of its kind in Egypt that is considered a milestone in the development and urban renaissance the country is currently witnessing, he added.
The minister briefed Madbouly on the completion rates of the district project, which groups 20 towers for various uses, including the 400-meter-high Iconic Tower, the tallest tower in Africa, which is being built in cooperation between the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Chinese CSCEC, one of the largest contracting companies worldwide.
