Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly asserted the importance of implementing Giza Zoo development project, Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad said on Thursday.
This came during a meeting to review blueprints of the project in which the meeting was attended by Military Production State Minister Mohamed Salah al-Din, deputy minister of agriculture Maged al-Serty and other officials concerned.
During the meeting, the premier pointed out that the project must be approved by Islamic and Coptic antiquities committee, African Association of Zoos and Aquaria (PAAZA) and National Organisation for Urban Harmony.
He also directed to raise the plans to the Supreme Council of Planning and Urban Development to approve before raising it to the cabinet to implement.
