Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has underlined the need to boost Arab investments, highlighting the importance of the project of the Canal Sugar Company in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Minya.
The premier made his remarks on Wednesday at a meeting held with UAE businessman Jamal Al Ghurair, president of the UAE’s Al Ghurair Group and board chairman of Canal Sugar Co., and a host of respective officials.
Madbouly said he is closely following up the progress of this promising project, noting that the government is keen to guarantee its success to bridge the sugar import gap.
For his part, Al Ghurair extended thanks to Madbouly over his keenness to meet the company’s delegation, noting that the factory’s sugar production is set to begin within two days.
