The American University in Cairo Publishing House is participating in the 53rd edition of the Cairo International Book Fair.
Inaugurated to the public onThursday, the fair will continue until Monday, February 7, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.
Greece will be the guest of honor for this session, and the late Egyptian writer and novelist Yahya Haqqi was chosen as the personality of this year’s exhibition.
The American University in Cairo Publishing House offers many discounts on all its new publications during the two weeks of the book fair, up to 20 percent and huge discounts of up to 75 percent on selected books.
The publishing house offers “The Centenary of Naguib Mahfouz”, a set of books translated into English, which include all of his novels, three short story collections and his autobiographical writings in a set of 20 volumes.
They will be offered at a special price during the exhibition period, with a discount of up to 65 percent.
The publishing house’s pavilion includes discounts of up to 10 percent on general English language and academic books, and 15 percent discount on all children’s books on display.
Each buyer of a book from the university publishing house also gets a card to participate in a raffle where five winners will receive a voucher of LE 500 after the end of the Cairo International Book Fair to buy books from the library of the university publishing house on the university campus in Tahrir Square.
The American University in Cairo Publishing House displays its publications in Hall 2, Pavilion No. 88 B. It’s working hours are from 10 am 8 pm and extend on Thursday until 9 pm. On Friday it opens from 1 pm until 9 pm.
