The Meteorological Authority expects a rise in temperatures on Monday, with warm weather across Cairo, Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt during the daytime while moderately warm weather will prevail over the northern coasts.
Temperatures in Egypt’s governorates are expected as follows:
Matrouh: 23C
Alexandria: 24C
Greater Cairo: 26C
Sohag, Qena: 28C
Aswan: 29C
The weather will grow cold at night in Cairo, the delta governorates, and the northern coasts, and very cold in the north and south of Upper Egypt.
Active winds will disturb sands and dust in Egypt’s western areas.
The Director of the Weather Forecast Department at the General Authority of Meteorology Mahmoud Shaheen said that mists are expected during the morning on several agricultural roads close to water bodies in Cairo, the delta governorates, the northern coasts, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
