Giza Governor Ahmed Rashid announced Sunday that work on the Ramaya Square – Al-Ahram metro fourth line will require a partial shutdown of several streets surrounding construction areas for a five year period.
Partial closures include the Al-Nasr Road coming from the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road in the vicinity of al-Ramaya Square, he explained, to begin construction work at al-Ramaya station in the area facing the Le Meridien Hotel and Felfela Restaurants.
He added that companies have been contracted to provide industrial security and technical assistance during the construction work, while the Giza Traffic Department will appoint services to organize all traffic in the vicinity of the construction.
The Union of National Companies have prepared the site to begin construction for the first phase of the project.
And the National Authority for Tunnels has finalized a deal with the Egyptian Companies Alliance, led by the Arab Contractors and includes Concord, Petrojet, and Hassan Allam companies, to begin work on the first phase of the project to begin on 2021.
