The current stint of bad weather that brought rain and clouds over Egypt is expected to clear by Sunday, paving the way for sunshine and mild temperatures.
Saturday and Sunday will witness mild daytime temperatures in Cairo, the Delta Governorates, the northeast coast, and northern Upper Egypt. The northwest coast will be slightly cooler, and South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt will be warmer.
The weather will grow cold across most parts of the country by night, and moderately cold on South Sinai.
On Saturday, light to moderate rainfall is expected on some parts of northern Nile Delta region (Kafr al-Sheikh, Behaira and Daqahlia).
Moderate rainfall is predicted in Alexandria, Matrouh, Rashid, and Salloum Governorates, while residents Damietta, Port Said, and al-Arish, and Rafah should expect heavy rain.
On Sunday, the rain will give way to a light mist in the morning falling on Cairo, the North Coast, northern Upper Egypt and the Delta Governorates.
