Egypt’s meteorologists expect dense mists and fog on Monday morning across several parts of Egypt, disrupting visibility on the roads.
The weather will be generally moderate on northern parts, moderately hot on the rest of the country during the daytime, and growing cooler by night throughout.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 27C in Alexandria, 30C in Cairo, 32C in Qena and Luxor, and 33C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning, with fog on the country’s northern parts up until northern Upper Egypt.
Low and medium-level clouds will cover the country, accompanied by rainfall on the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen and areas south of Egypt. Rains will cause floods on the Red Sea mountains.
Winds will be northeastern and moderate.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height. Surface winds on the Mediterranean Sea will be northeastern, while surface winds on the Red Sea will be northeastern to northwestern.
