Egypt’s meteorologists predict hot weather on Lower Egypt, Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and the northeastern coasts on Sunday, with higher temperatures expected on southern Upper Egypt, with the weather growing milder throughout the country by night.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 30C in Alexandria, 34C in Cairo, 39C in Qena and Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.
Mild weather is also expected along the northern coasts.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning from the country’s northern parts. Low- and medium-level-clouds will cover the northern parts.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on South Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, and the Gulf of Suez, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two and 2.5 meters. Northeastern to northwestern surface winds are expected on the Mediterranean Sea, while northwestern surface winds are expected for the Red Sea.
