Egypt’s meteorologists predict hot weather on Lower Egypt, Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and very hot weather for southern Upper Egypt on Monday during daylight hours.
Mild weather is expected along the northern coasts, and temperatures will grow milder by night throughout the country.
Maximum temperatures expected are 28C in Alexandria, 33C in Cairo, 37C in Qena, and 39C in Luxor and Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning at the country’s northern parts, with low and medium-level-clouds expected there.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on northern Upper Egypt, and the Gulf of Suez, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two and 2.5 meters.
Northwestern surface winds are expected on both seas.
