Meteorologists expect hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Upper Egypt on Friday, with moderate weather on the northern coasts during daytime.
The weather will grow milder by night across the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 30C in Alexandria, 33C in Cairo, 38C in Qena, 49C in Luxor and 39C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active on the eastern coasts, and will disturb sands and dusts on South Sinai and in the south of the country. Winds will also disturb the maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez, across the Red Sea, and in Egypt’s western portion of the Mediterranean Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and will range between 2.5 and three meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and will range between two and 2.5 meters with northwestern surface winds on both the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
