Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in Bucharest Wednesday morning for an official visit to Romania, during which he will hold talks with his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis.
Egypt’s Presidency spokesperson Bassam Rady said that Sisi would also meet with the heads of the House of Representatives and the Senate in Romania to discuss enhancing political and economic relations, as well as reviewing aspects of mutual cooperation and coordination at international and regional levels.
Sisi is set to deliver a speech at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, which will shed light on relations between Egypt and Romania, efforts to develop the higher education system and scientific research in Egypt, and prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
