Meteorologists expect further temperature increases across Egypt on Tuesday, with very hot weather predicted for Cairo and most parts of Egypt, and hot weather on the northern coasts during the daytime.
The weather will grow milder at night across the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 31C in Alexandria, 38C in Cairo, 39C in Qena, 40C in Luxor and 41C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning on northern parts of the country, with low and medium-level clouds anticipated. Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active on Cairo.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northeastern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between one to 1.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
