Egypt’s meteorologists expect moderate weather across northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo on Friday, while hot weather is expected for the north of Upper Egypt.
Hot weather is expected for the south of Upper Egypt in the morning. Weather will become mild at night throughout the entire country.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are: 33C in Cairo, 25C in Alexandria, 37C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 32C in Suez.
Mist will impact visibility in several areas in the north of Egypt until the north of Upper Egypt in the morning.
Low- and medium-level clouds will cover the north and south of the country, possibly accompanied by rains in the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen.
Winds will be moderate and northeasterly, active in Lower Egypt, Cairo, the north of Upper Egypt and in South Sinai, and will disturb maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate and will range between 1 and 1.5 meters with northeasterly surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and will range between 2 to 2.5 meters with northwesterly surface winds.
