Meteorologists predict cold weather along the country’s northern coast on Monday as well as in Lower Egypt and the north of Upper Egypt during daylight hours, with more moderate weather in the south of Upper Egypt and growing colder through the entire country at night.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are: 18C in Alexandria, 19C in Cairo,, 22C in Qena, 23C in Luxor and Aswan.
Low-and medium-level clouds will cover the northern coasts, with rainfall along the northern coasts, Sinai, Lower Egypt, and Cairo.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and active along the north coast, South Sinai, and north Upper Egypt. It may affect maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough and will range between 2 to 2.5 meters, with northwestern winds while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters, with southwesterly winds.
