Meteorologists predict moderate weather across the country’s northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo on Thursday.
Weather is expected to be warm throughout Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, growing very cold at night. Frost is expected in central Sinai.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 19C in Alexandria, 20C in Cairo, 22C in Qena and 23C in Luxor, and 24C in Aswan.
Low and medium-level clouds will appear in the north of the country.
Winds are expected to be active and southwesterly, disturbing maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height.
Surface winds will be northerly.
