Experts from the Egyptian Metrological Authority predict a slight increase of temperatures on Friday. Moderate weather will prevail in the northern coast.
Hot temperatures are expected in Lower Egypt, Cairo and north of Upper Egypt, while the hottest temperatures will dominate southern Upper Egypt in the morning, growing mild during night hours.
Mist will affect visibility on the country’s north coast in the morning.
Low-level clouds will appear over the northern parts of Egypt.
Moderate winds are expected to flow mostly northwest, and be active in the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez, affecting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea around 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern in both seas.
Temperatures predicted include 36C in Cairo, 32C in Alexandria, 40C in Aswan, 28C in Qena, 37 in Sharm al-Sheikh.
