11 people were injured in a bus crash in Nasr City, northeastern Cairo, the Egypt Health Ministry reported on Tuesday.
Ministry spokesperson Khaled Megahid said that 8 ambulances have rushed to the scene immediately, to transfer the victims to area’s Health Insurance Hospital.
He added that the injuries ranged from concussion, to fractures in the pelvis and leg, to bruises and abrasions in different parts in the body, stressing that all the injured are receiving treatment and care.
A security source claimed that the accident occurred due to a “disruption” of the driver’s wheel, which led it across the road’s middle island towards another car.
