Meteorologists expect hot weather on Sunday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, growing milder by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are; 36C in Cairo, 31C in Alexandria, 38C in Qena, 39C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are to be expected as well in the north.
Winds are predicted to be northwestern and moderate in strength. It will be active along the north coast and in the Mediterranean Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be turbulent and range between 3 to 3.5 meters in height, and in the Red Sea it will range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds in both seas.
