The Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) expects a temporary slight increase in weather temperatures on Saturday in Lower Egypt, Cairo, and north Upper Egypt. Very hot weather is predicted in south of Upper Egypt in daylight and milder temperatures will prevail all over the country through the night.
Mild temperatures are predicted along the north coast during daylight hours, before turning very cold overnight.
Mist will affect visbility in the morning in the north.
Low and medium level-cloud cover is expected for the north.
Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly northwesterly in direction. Winds will be active in west the Mediterranean Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean and Red seas will be light and range between 1 and 1.5 meters high. Northwesterly surface winds are predicted in both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 30C in Cairo, 22C in Alexandria, 33C in Qena, 34C in Luxor, and 34C in Aswan.
