The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects warm weather on Friday along the northeasterly coasts, and warmer weather in Lower Egypt, Cairo, and north of Upper Egypt.
Hot temperatures are predicted in the south of Upper Egypt in the daylight.
However, very cold weather is expected across the country overnight.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the north coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities.
Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north coast.
Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly southwesterly in direction. Winds will be active in the western regions accompanied by dust.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters high with northwesterly surface winds in the Mediterranean Sea and northwesterly surface winds in the Red Sea.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 26C in Cairo, 23C in Alexandria, 29C in Qena, 30C in Luxor, and 31C in Aswan.
