The Egyptian Meteorological Authority predicts unstable weather nationwide on Friday, as low and medium clouds will cover the country, accompanied by rainfall on the northwesterly coasts and Lower Egypt, and torrents in South Sinai, south of Upper Egypt, and the Red Sea mounts.
Cold weather is expected to prevail on the western coasts while moderate weather will dominate the eastern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo, and north of Upper Egypt.
Warm temperatures will prevail across south of Upper Egypt in the daylight, while it will be very cold overnight. Frost will dominate central Sinai.
Mist will affect visibility in different parts of the north, Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities. Winds will mostly be northwesterly and cause sandstorms across the western parts of the country.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters, with southwesterly surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters, with northwesterly surface winds.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 20C in Cairo, 17C in Alexandria, 22C in Qena, 23C in Luxor, and 25C in Aswan.
