The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects cold weather on Wednesday along the country’s northern coast, and moderate temperatures in Lower Egypt, Cairo and north Upper Egypt.
Very cold weather is expected across the country overnight.
Frost is expected to form across plantations in central Sinai and the north of Upper Egypt.
Mist will affect visability in the morning along the north coast in Lower Egypt, Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, and northern Upper Egypt.
Low and medium level cloud cover is expected along the north coast and in some regions in the south.
Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly northeasterly.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1 and 1.5 meters high, while waves in the Red Sea will range between 1.5 and 2 meters high with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 19C in Cairo, 18C in Alexandria, 21C in Qena, 22C in Luxor, and 23C in Aswan.
