The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects cold weather across the country on Friday. Low and medium clouds are expected to be dense in north, accompanied by rain in the northern coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, north of Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.
Northwesterly winds will be active across the country’s northern parts, north of Upper Egypt, Sinai, the Red Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea, causing disruptions to navigation in both seas.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be very rough and range between three to four meters high, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough and range between two to three meters in height, with northeasterly surface on both.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 25C in Cairo, 15C in Alexandria, 17C in Qena, 17C in Luxor, and 18C in Aswan.
