Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects cold weather on Tuesday across the country’s northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo while moderate temperatures will dominate north of Upper Egypt. Very warm weather will prevail across south of Upper Egypt during the daylight.
Very cold weather is expected across the country overnight.
Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north. Mist will affect visibility throughout the country’s northern parts, and the north of Upper Egypt in the morning.
Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly northwesterly and will be active in the Suez Gulf and the Red Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1.5 and 2 meters high, while waves in the Red Sea will range between 2 and 2.5 meters with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 18C in Cairo, 18C in Alexandria, 22C in Qena, 23C in Luxor, and 25C in Aswan.
