Meteorologists have warned against fog starting Monday until Thursday.
In a statement issued on Monday, Ahmed Abdel Aal, chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), warned against low visibility on most roads, especially those near large water surfaces or agricultural lands, as well as desert highways.
The low visibility, blamed on the high rate of humidity and light wind, could reach less than 1,000 meters starting the late hours of the night until the early hours of the morning.
The EMA advised all traffic departments to take precautionary measures to limit impacts that could result from accidents caused by high speed.
