
Meteorologists are predicting hot and humid weather to prevail on Monday in Cairo and Lower Egypt, where highs of 34 degrees centigrade will be reached.
Cooler weather is expected along the north coast, where low-and medium-level clouds will be seen, bringing with them a chance of light showers. Highs of 31 degrees will be felt in Alexandria.
There will be a moderate, northwesterly wind in South Sinai, the Suez Gulf and on the Red Sea.
Extremely hot weather will be felt in Upper Egypt with highs of 40 degrees in Qena, 41 in Luxor and 42 in Aswan.
A northwesterly wind on the Mediterranean will cause waves of between 1.5 to two meters, while on the Red Sea, the waves will reach between two to 2.5 meters.
