Manpower Minister Nabila Makram said that Saudi officials confirmed the arrest of four suspects involved in the killing of an Egyptian man in Riyadh after running over him with their car.
In press remarks on Tuesday, Makram said she followed up on the accident, which allegedly took place following an altercation. She added that she delegated a representative from the General Union of Egyptians Abroad to be there with the body at the morgue and work on facilitating all measures required.
The minister said that the body is undergoing an autopsy to guarantee that the criminals will be penalized in accordance with the investigations ongoing in Saudi Arabia. The ministry is communicating all developments with the victim’s family. The body will be transferred to Egypt at the government’s expense.
