Privately owned Egyptian Leisure Airlines will sign a multi-million dollar deal in Cairo on Tuesday to buy four jets from Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, with the option of buying another six, said a Sukhoi official.
The two sides are also expected to form a joint venture and an additional 40 jets could be purchased later, an Egyptian source said earlier.
Evgeny Andrachnikov, senior vice president of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, said different scenarios were under discussion though he did not give details.
The fleet would be used for domestic flights in Egypt.
Further details of the joint venture were not immediately available.
