Egyptian commentator Ahmed al-Tayeb revealed that retired football player Mohamed Abu Treika refused to take 50,000 euros to play in all-star team match against Kuwait.
Abu Treika said that it is an honor for him to participate in the match, and that he appreciates the emir’s great deeds.
Al-Tayeb said on Facebook that the emir shook Abu Treika’s hand for this. “The Egyptian flag was decorating the T-shirt of this great football star,” he added.
